World full of films March 18, 2014
For the 11th time the end of March does not only mark the beginning of spring but also the time when images, sounds, emotions and stories from all over the world meet up in Tartu.
It is the time for World Film Festival. And as the festival director Pille Runnel said in her opening speech, besides being a festival of films it is also a festival of ideas. A festival of conversations between people, of thoughts and of discoveries.
The films are here, the film makers are here, the projectors are rolling, and doors to stories, lives, and worlds are open. Its up to us, viewers, to step in, look around, discover, and discuss.
